Nepalese Student Association (NeSA), New Mexico State University (NMSU) is pleased to invite students, scholars and researchers to submit presentation and poster abstract for its Twelfth International Conference entitled “Science and Technology: Way Towards Sustainability”.

Conference Aims

The NeSA conference is an annual program that has been organized since 2009. This 12th conference will mainly focus on the role of science and technology for sustainable development which is one of the important issues throughout the world.

Sustainability is a broad term that embeds aspects from technology, business, economy, ecology and further. We believe that the world must think about using available resources more efficiently for present and future generation. Science and technology have been an important part to maintain sustainability for this world.

We want to see all the aspects of science and technology doing their part in maintaining a sustainable world around us. It could be physicist who are working on designing innovative advanced materials that may come handy now or in future or it could be agriculturists producing crops in a way that they can feed this generation without compromising potential to produce for future generations. May it be engineering, chemistry, economics, mathematics, agriculture, or any other majors, all of us in science and technology are working for maintaining our existence constantly without compromising future generation. That is what sustainability is all about. So, we encourage participants from all fields to participate in the conference and share their experience how they have been using science and technology from their level to contribute a sustainable world.
We are thrilled to keep NMSU community informed of diverse research in which students at NMSU and different universities are involved. We encourage participants from all fields to participate in the conference and share their experience on how they have been using science and technology from their level to contribute a sustainable world. Interested faculties, graduate, as well as undergraduate students from different disciplines, are invited and encouraged to present their ongoing research studies and related literature.
Along with this, the conference aims to provide a platform for scholars to present their academic research, views, and ideas. Keeping this in mind, the aims of this conference are:

  • To bring diversity through scholars from different departments of NMSU as well as different universities and countries.
  • To form a platform of positive changes by sharing knowledge.
  • To network with scholars across the country
